States of Power FAQ
All Questions
Is States of Power on mobile or Android?
No. The Steam store API lists the game as Windows-only, there is no Google Play listing, and no APK exists. Google's own knowledge panel labels it a “Mobile game”, which is where most of the confusion comes from — that label is wrong. See our platform page for the full evidence.
Is there a States of Power APK?
No. No Android build has ever been released. Any file advertised as a “States of Power APK” is not this game — treat it as unsafe.
Is statesofpower.io a free browser version?
No. statesofpower.io is the developer's own shortlink: opening it redirects straight to the Steam store page. The developer's Steam support address is statesofpower.io@gmail.com, which confirms the domain belongs to them.
How much does States of Power cost?
$11.99 USD. It launched on 26 August 2026 with a 15% discount at $10.19. There is no free-to-play version.
Is there a States of Power demo?
There was a pre-release demo that limited you to France. As of 30 August 2026 the Steam store page shows no demo download section and Steam search returns no separate demo app. The demo's single-country limit could not be unlocked — the full game is the only way to play other nations.
Does States of Power run on Mac, Linux or Steam Deck?
The store page lists Windows only, with no macOS or Linux build and no Steam Deck compatibility rating. The minimum spec is very low — an Intel i3 with integrated graphics and 2 GB of storage — so Windows handhelds are comfortably within requirements, but the game is unrated on Deck.
What year does the campaign start?
1936. Official screenshots show in-game dates of July and September 1936 at the start, with the Spanish Civil War already under way between Nationalist Spain and Republican Spain.
Is States of Power like Hearts of Iron 4?
That is how its own players describe it. Across the launch-week Steam reviews the comparison appears constantly — “HOI4 lite”, “Hearts of Iron 4 streamlined”, “for people who find HOI4 too complicated”. The pitch is a full match in one session with no tutorial marathon, at the cost of HOI4's depth.
Does States of Power have multiplayer?
Yes, with developer-run official servers. Those servers speed up while nothing important is happening and slow down when players go to war. Since update 1.0.11 your country is reserved for two minutes if you disconnect.
Can I make my own scenarios?
Yes. A Scenario Editor is built in — you can create custom countries, redraw borders and script events with no external tools — and finished scenarios can be published to the in-game Scenario Browser for others to download, rate and play.
How many players are online right now?
Steam publishes a live concurrent-player count for the game; our player count page shows the most recent reading and the date it was taken. Historical peak data is not yet available because the game is only days old.
Where is the official States of Power Discord?
The developer links a Discord server from the Steam store page at discord.gg/YVZSkSg9TQ. The official YouTube channel is @sarunasdev, which is where both trailers were published.
Who made States of Power?
Sarunas, credited as both developer and publisher on Steam — a solo-developer release rather than a studio project.
What languages does it support?
Eleven: English, Lithuanian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish (Spain), Ukrainian, Turkish, German, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese became fully playable in update 1.0.11 on 29 August 2026.
